Federer:Whooosh. Thank God, I won that Basel nonsense. Talk about nickle and diming to the No. 1 ranking. And that $1.5 million looks so good on the cheque book – you know that bundle of cash, these Paris clowns gave me for just showing up.
Looks like the party is coming to an end, based on this year’s stats. Hope I can get No. 14 at Roland Garros, so I can play loose for the rest of the season.
I also wish that I get a good draw at TMC, and capitalize on it by winning it. Nine losses in a year, otherwise, would look excessive after just five, last year. Good, that obese Nalbandian is out, and has decided not to come to China, even if he qualifies as an alternate.
Now, I think I have, just Djokovic to worry about. Nadal is out. Why can’t we play Roland Garros NOW.

Nadal: I cannot freaking believe I lost to some morbidly obese, old, over the hill midget at Paris. If I cannot win hard court events with the ducks lined up for me, like they were at Paris, I may really never be No. 1 ever.
With Djokovic and Murray on the rise, even my No. 2 ranking is not looking so solid anymore. How come these other jokers, are not having problems with their freaking knees.
Hope Federer’s graph dips sharply next year, alongwith stunted growth for both Djokovic and Murray, and I am on my way to the top spot.
It will difficult to live with that trivia attached to my name: No. 2 player never to have reached the top ranking.

Djokovic:I think, next year, is going to be my year. Federer has already shown signs of slowing down. Five different players have defeated him this year, for the first time in four years.
I know I can beat Nadal anytime, maybe even on clay. I know I am really the No. 2 in the world. By March, I should be able to make it official.
If I can get one more win over Federer here, I think I will be able to get into his head, like Nadal and Nalbandian. I just need to work on my physical conditioning and fitness, to narrow the gap.
I am already looking forward to the AO, where I think I have a realistic chance of upsetting Federer. Hope I, or someone else, can beat him at TMC, and then hopefully Sampras will do the rest of my work, later this year.
How wonderful will it be, to see my prediction about Federer not winning all the time, come true. And to see him, with that small dish, next to me, holding that huge trophy, will be heavenly. I love to see him squirm, when he loses, at trophy ceremonies.
