my feeling is that TP is a sports resporter for ESPN and is specifically covering tennis. Maybe his real name initial is also TP, which you may guess what T and P stand for. this is my guess though.
I also think that Federer has been playing better and better, and hope he wins this title tomorrow and many more others later, esp the RG and Wimb.

I watched the match and I have to say, it was great. True, it was more difficult in the first set but it appeared to be a concentration problem. As soon as he started concentrating more on the game, it was really easy for him. The second set, after he got broken, was like watching the best of Federer. He only lost 3 points in the whole second set after he got broken at 0-1! that's huge. Even the commentators on eurosport said that he was playing like in the MC against Ferrer, he was unbeatable and there was nothing Gil could do. And you're right about saying that Gil is a WC and he had just played that same morning, but that actually gave him an edge. He said at the press conference that his win that morning gave him confidence, feeling the crowd was really rooting for him and not so nervous about playing the number 1 like he would have been if he had to think about it all night. Plus, he knows this court by heart, he plays there all year, is used to the weather conditions and is just at home. Anyway, Federer actually played a great match during the second set and can be satisfied with his performance, despite the lack of bagel (6-1 is not enough for you?).

Roger is playing very well as he continues to recover from his serious illness, mononucleosis. To be honest, he amazes many of us as to how well he is playing. We wish him all of the very best.

The myp2p stream, or whatever it's called, that TP has in the listing on the left works. The resolution is horrendous, but you can catch much more than scoreboard watching.

Ditto Gracie, only match I'll see on TV is the final on Tennis Channel.

Wish TP would tell us how he is seeing this match live. Maybe, that would give us a clue as to who he is??? One guess is he travels covering the ATP tournaments. A while back I asked for pictures at some tournament and I remember TP (or maybe it was another "freak") sending them to my e-mail address! I really think he is working for ATP or in some other job directly related to tennis. What do the rest of you think??

Come on TP e-mail who you are and I promise I won't tell anyone!!!! I hate not knowing!
