‘Improve Your Tennis’ section. From Mordecai. Thanks.

Hey TP…not sure if this is a good idea…how about an “Improve your Tennis” section for freaks that actually play the game not just wish it.
I know from time to time you share slowmo videos of pro players hitting a ball, good stuff, besides that folks can share articles, links, videos, etcetera that have helped them improve.

Great idea, Mordecai!! I’d esp. love to see the slo-motion videos of how the pros do it.

I’m taking weekly lessons, attend clinic once a week and play doubles once week. This would be the perfect time in my “career” to have a “Improve your tennis” section.
Great idea Mordecai!

When you play singles are you just mindlessly smacking the ball across the net while hoping and praying your opponent will screw up the next shot??? Go get some shot-selection lessons will ya!?
Best method I’ve found is PAUL WARDLAW’S DIRECTIONALS. Learn it, live it, love it! More info to follow…

Mordecai, these are awesome. I wish you were around when I was a little kid having a not-so-hot time with tennis lessons.
I’ve seen slow-mo vids of Roger serving, and Rafa serving, but they’re hard to use as tutorials, the follow-through is distracting …
Mordecai said
Glad you like it M, I too wish when I was a kid I’ve been taught the things I’m learning from these resources. Man I could’ve been a pro now, and freaks here would be talking about me instead of me entertaining you people!
Deep South Girl said
But you are SO entertaining, my little honeybee!
But many thanks for these wonderful youtubes and links–they are much appreciated

Found this interesting video of Federer’s point construction.

Oh yes, good one Bigfish! That video by the way is a perfect example of the WARDLAW DIRECTIONALS in action.
Too bad Federer missed the final shot of the point he setup so perfectly. A very educational clip though, thanks!

Alright you lazy freaks looks like I’m gonna have to do most of the heavy lifting around here. Sheesh!
Here’s a new video on Paul Wardlaw’s directionals for you singles player out there. Watch Federer and Murray illustrate it with commentator analysis. Learn it! Live it! Love it!
