I mean, isn’t the recovery of the auto industry solely dependent on the consumers buying American cars? Isn’t that the main reason Japanese auto makers are in the black while US makers wallow in red?
With that as a premise, how giving these nimrods money will revive sales? Are they going to use that money to overnight radically transform American cars into a more reliable option than their Japanese counterparts?
Isn’t that the only use of money that will stop the hemorrhaging? Any other application and you are just making sure the flushing continues.
With the Japanese reliability factor deeply entrenched in US psyche by now, even if these dirt-bags are able to produce a superior car tomorrow, it will take a long time for the consumers to come back.
And that in today’s climate may not be long enough for the misfortunes to turn around to save Detroit from complete extinction.
So this $15 billion dollars for three months is just a start of your tax dollars being flushed by clowns who have no clue what they themselves are doing, forget about the competition.
