Guillermo Coria to retire. From Jenny. Thanks.

Guillermo Coria has decided to retire at just 27yrs, which is no surprise really. El Mago was one of my clay court heroes, I cut my clay teeth on Guga and Coria. He wasn’t sweet like Guga, but IMO his game was just as beautiful to the eye. The dancing feet, the slender hands and fingers of a concert pianist, the feather touch at the net and with sometimes the temperament of a sneaky viper. For those who didn’t get to see him play, I hope you enjoy the following link.
Take Care, Guille – Big loss to clay court tennis.

Guillermo was a clay court guru. It’s a shame what happened to him during the last half of his career. It would’ve been nice to see a comeback, but that’s not possible anymore. Men’s tennis will miss u Guillermo. How I wish u could’ve stuck around and made a tough rivalry with Rafa Nadal himself.
Best of luck, Guillermo. You will be missed!!!

Thank you Jenny san. I remember you mentioned him many times before. Too bad it was before my tennis time. May be I look for his past games in Youtube. Too bad indeed for he looks so young but a bit tiny too , no?? May be hard to beat the bigger players now I think.
BTW where is Gracie san do you know Jenny san??
