Thanks for this, Sarah. I’ve always admired Peter Lundgren, one of the great coaches imo. In many ways I was sorry Roger split with him after his first slam victory at Wimbledon. Safin benefited from the split, because Lundgren guided him to his second slam victory, the 2005 AO. In two years, two slam winners.
He did work for the LTA, does anyone know who he’s coaching now? I’d be interested, and would be keeping a beady eye on their progress.

I thought so! It’s Grigor Dimitrov, the young Bulgarian player. This kid’s got great potential and talent, Lundgren would know that.

I have seen him, Sol. Lovely single b/h too, he’s got flair, but needs to play safer. He may take time to develop, but he’s in good hands with Lundgren.
