JASON
According to NBC’s website, NBC will offer online streaming.
Click here and then go to – Video: Live from Wimbledon.
This should be interesting. Are the dinosaurs at the Peacock’s nest courageous enough to meet us, the consumers, in the 21st century. As one colleague stated: “Whether this will be available when ESPN is on air, or when NBC is showing delayed coverage of Serena Williams, remains to be seen.”
Hopefully, the commentators are British as it were for Tennis Channel’s coverage of Rolland Garros. What are the chances that NBC will stream in HD?

Thank you Jason.

**UPDATE**
Unfortunately, it appears NBC’s online coverage begins when NBC’s tv coverage starts — June 27 (Saturday). It baffles me why NBC, as the main rights holder, does not stream for the entire fortnight.

I’m sorry Jason, that’s terrible, it’s a slam for goodness sake!

First of all Jason—thanks very much for this info. Nothing NBC does baffles me anymore regarding their tennis coverage. I have absolutely no expectations of being able to view the semifinal matches—-AGAIN!

I guess Wimbledon was right; NBC “may” offer online streaming. They didn’t even advertise the feature. They’re deluding themselves if they think they are still relevant.

Well, at least this will be a partial answer to those of us not on the East Coast who have to wait for the delayed coverage even MORE delayed. And who knows, maybe the online version will even show live matches. (Probably the outer courts and not the one they are going to show on television.)
I can’t get ESPN360 because Comcast is the worst.
JustinTV, here we come!
