Are those stats real? GOAT like stats from Sir Roger.

Did anyone see the Djokovic match?

I saw most of it. Djokovic was struggling, but Benneteau was playing very well. B got tired by the third set and then took a couple of nasty spills.

Djokovic was having a hard time keeping his balance at times – tripping, fell one time.
B hit his knee on something hard behind the green tarp thing – looked in real pain. That was at match point, Djokovic didn’t win on that point, B hung in there a few more pts. Who knows what would have happened if B didn’t fall! Djokovic looked pretty frustrated out there at times! I think Darell Cahill (sp) said Djokovic is pissed cuz he’s not in the coversation about winning Wimby! Cahill also said he had the same type of problem as Nadal – Cahill said after 3 years of icing his leg twice a day, living on anti-inflammatory, he had to give up tennis. Of course Bud Collins didn’t say anything complementary about Federer – all Collins said was that Federer did break the record (6)as most times a player opened Wimbledon on center court!!!!
PS Mirka looks pretty big – she had a hard time getting up to clap at end of match. I think she looks pretty good from what I saw. I think it’s only a couple of weeks away!

Thanks Evie. I wonder what’s up with Djokovic. Ever since he lost that Madrid semi to Nadal he seems detached, like he’s not focused or doesn’t care. It’s weird.

oh lord claire. nole said himself hes “happy” to be flyin under radar at wimbledon. that hes not a favorite. dont believe cahill. read noles interview if u want it from the man himself.

he played okay. not gr8. not bad. okay 4 1st round.

Actually, I don’t think Novak feels particularly comfortable on grass. I think he prefers hard courts and clay.

Too bad that the French gentleman took a couple of nasty fall. The last one hit the back wall. I think he was a better player a lot of the time during the match.

roddick shud b considered a contender. same with delpo

for sure. Didn’t think I’ll say that about Roddick, but yeah he’s a contender, he played really well yesterday. And Del Potro, he better become no1 soon otherwise he’s another underachiever.
