Agassi has a Career Golden Slam.
Nadal and Federer can equal this with a win at the US Open and at the Olympics respectively.

Actually, Agassi is the only man to win:
- Australian Open;
- French Open;
- Wimbledon;
- Us Open;
- The Olympics;
- The Masters Cup;
- Davis Cup;
He’s the only one to have won all the major titles in the sport of tennis.

And he married Steffi Graf. That has got to be count for something IMO.

The only significant titles missing from Agassi’s trophy case are the MS shields for Monte Carlo and Hamburg. He has won all the other ones.
Nevertheless, his career achievements seem to be the most complete.

The Davis Cup is more like a Tier 2 event in terms of media attention and fan interest. The format is lame/anti-climactic and tennis needs to take a page from golf’s Ryder Cup to bring some excitement to it.

Plus Agassi still has the most Master Series titles – 17 – though Rafa and Roger are catching up, with 15 each.

-Lendl: Having a winning H2H record against his arch-rival and nemesis.
-Agassi: Career GS.
-McEnroe: Forcing Borg to call it quits!

you are not going to give up the year-end-nonsense, are you?
Sampras: 7 wimbledon-titles, 8 us open-finals, (ok, ok: 6 consecutive year-end-number 1′s!!!)
Lendl: 18 (or was it 17?) consecutive finals (not GS or MS, but from one tournament to the freaking next!!), 8 consecutive us open-finals, 8 (or was it 9?) consecutive Masters-Cup-finals [hell, what's wrong with me, i used to be such a great Lendl-fan!]
Federer: 21 consecutive GS-semifinals, 7 consecutive wimbledon-finals, 17 consecutive finals (or 16, it depends on how much Lendl had, cause i know that Fed is one short, there), 5 consecutive GS-titles at two different tournaments (wimbledon, us open), and last but not least: 237 CONSECUTIVE WEEK-END NUMBER 1′S!!!
i agree with the rest…

oh i got it wrong! (once again
)
Sampras of course doesn’t stand alone with 7 wimbledon-titles and 8 us open-finals. (i thought ‘what they stand for’, and not for ‘what they stand alone’)
so, from that point of view Federer doesn’t stand alone with 16 (or 17) consecutive finals…

i too loved lendl, for his stoic on-court style (& for his understated wit & humour off court).
confirmations:
* most consecutive singles finals: 18 (1981 & 1982)
* most consecutive us open finals: 8 (1982-1989)
* longest indoor winning streak (apr 1981 – jan 1983)
* won 90+ matches in 3 consecutive years (1980-1982

thanks, Bunnee…
think about Lendl winning Wimbledon. he would have been considered a GOAT, don’t you think?
just because of one tournament! ok, i admit, it’s a very important tournament – and so is the FO-title for Rog – but stats like these are way more impressive to me!!!!!!
just like Roger said that it’s most probably ‘easier’ (whatever that means) to win every GS than winning 15 GS’s, or being in 21 consecutive GS-Semis, or 7 consecutive GS-finals…or every other freaking quantity-stat of Lendl’s or Federer’s…
and if you add the quality-stats to the quantity-stats that Fed has, it’s COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS – do you read me, all of you ignorant Fed-hater-naysayers?! (and, of course, i’m not talking to you, Bunnee) – to state anything else than the Fed being the GOAT!!!!! and by farrrrrrrrr!!! fur surrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

It’s hard to believe that McEnroe could have a
82-3 record in 1984 but only win TWO of the Slams that year…
