Old / young woman syndrome hitting tennis fans?
Posted by tennisplanet on July 11, 2009

For freaks just emerging from under that rock, this photo has both a young / old woman in it. See which one you can locate, if at all.
Steven Covey used this illustration to prove that many times both sides may be right about their opinion on a subject relegating arguing and fuming to basest of human emotions.
He showed this pic to a class of students who argued incessantly that it was a young / old woman almost coming to blows until he decoded the secret, proving his point.

Good sign, Pommes – your eyes are working.

thanks jenny…
and you know, in this case “eyes are working” is a metaphor, right?

Alex, first look at the slash in the throat, eyes, big nose [old lady]. Then look at the outline of the old lady’s nose, outline of the jaw of a young lady in profile.
Alex said

i see it now
took me long enough!

lol! This picture is quite similar, both old ladies have no necks at all. (I saw the young one first as well, for whatever that’s worth!)

WOW! I saw both. When I lifted my chin up I saw the young women. When I dropped my chin I saw the old one.

I, too, see the young one first. It takes a while to see the older woman.
