Is the era of the freaks about to dawn? Here’s where these clowns currently stand:
Del Potro: Career high No. 5 rank at age 20. Currently at No. 6. Career titles: 5. Nicknames: Enano, Palito and Delpo. Father: Veterinarian. Mother: Teacher. Fav surface: Hard (US Open?) Would pursue architecture if not tennis.
Cilic: Career high No. 13 rank at age 20. Currently at No. 14. Nickname: Mrnja. Where’s the freaking vowel after M. Geeezzz!!!!! Considers backhand his strength. Practices at an academy near French-Italian border.
Querrey: Career high rank No. 33 this year. Currently at 34. Career titles: 1. Father: Mortgage banker??? Mother: Housewife. Is a Clippers fan. No wonder he’s losing to every Tom…..
Karlovic: Father: Metereologist. Mother: In agriculture??? Wife’s name: Alsi.

Karlovic is, ah, a bit older than these other guys. but he is enjoying a good time in his career right now, I guess. good for the “freaks.”
