Very nice pictures, thanks, TP. The prince and princess match very well, and they look like nice people. They somewhat resemble the queen and the king.
It looks strange that the Mayor is empty-handed. Maybe they gave Soder the runner-up plate, since they didn’t want to make him angry. Then the great Pete also left empty-handed beaten by Ruset. The organizers are stingy these days.

According to Sol, Mayer was given a bouquet and a little black bag containing something, Fed got the bag too. It would have been nice if he had been given a runner up trophy/plate – very strange.

What a shrieking match!and those two commentators! not professional at all.It was like listening to an entertainment show. They were laughing and picking on them and being sarcastic most of the time. They even picked on Marat.Saying things like- ” oh he likes his tennis too” and started giggling.
I would love to see Azarenka playing doubles with Nadal.Would be a good partnership.

I agree. Love Elena’s dress, and Franny’s, very elegant. I like ‘Gladiator’ sandals but not when they grow very high heels! That’s a great pic of the cannon in Russia.
