If you mean the Power Balance Wristband, they get mixed reviews on Amazon.
“Performance technology that uses holograms embedded with frequencies that react positively with your bodys natural energy field * When the hologram comes in contact with your bodys energy field, it allows your body to interact with the natural, beneficial frequency stored within the hologram resulting in improved energy flow throughout your body * Helps promote balance, strength, and flexibility *

Thanks, Bettyjane. I’ve noticed a lot of ATP players wear them and I often wondered what they were.

What??!!!?? How can that possibly be? I am no scientist, but come on! One of you guys buy one and let me know how “balanced and flexible” you become. LMAO!!

Yeah right, Ricke! It can sit in my drawer along with 2 copper bangles that just ended up making my wrist turn green!

That really is a Power Balance Wristband. Their whole marketing pitch talking about the holograms is hilarious. The only way for something like this to have any effect is by having the person wearing believe in the effect, thus creating a sensation of balance. If said person believed a piece of paper in his/her pocket to have the same power, it would.

Not only are their claims absurd, they don’t even come close to being scientific. And btw, I am a scientist (who happens to wish having been a professional tennis player instead).

In other words, the placebo effect. Mind you, I did believe in the copper bangle, it still didn’t work!
