I don’t know if this is common knowledge…sorry if it is. But I love this story. Rafter lost in the first round of an event that had handed over to him a ton of “appearance” money (is that what they call it?). He gave it all back. He didn’t have to.

Is Rafa getting hair style tips from Roger?

Perhaps the only thing Rafa is delusional about is his hair. It is worse than Federer’s delusion about playing with a 90″ racket head. Notice how Rafa pulls back invisible hair strands from his ears before serving. Observe how violently he shakes his head around after winning a match, believing that his luxurious crop of hair-ends will dance from left to right. Just like it did a few years ago. How wrong. I’m sure his mother was the first to tell him that the spanish tiled rooftop look needs to go. All of it!
