Looks like Andy started that conversation:) But its nice seeing Roger opening up to the kid.

Fed didnt stop and pat on Murray either while giving the usual hand-shake part after the game.Hmmm….body language not so positive i see….

The older Fed gets, the better he looks… I could look at that face ( and physique!!) all day long.

Roger is quite lovely. I was chatting with one of my tennis-fan gfs the other day about how we think our tenistas are the best looking men in sports.

(Shh … don’t tell the other girls who watch stuff like football and basketball. 😛 )

      Errr…TRUE!!!!

Btw I was so happy when he did make it to the final like I wished for but I feel sorry to see him ending up a runner up again…Is this allowed such a feeling?

Absolutely, Manal. I wanted Fed to win, there was no conflict of interests as far as I was concerned, it didn’t work out for him or his fans on this occasion, I’m still okay with it because he was beaten by the better player on the day. We all feel gutted when one of our faves loses, it’s only natural, even by a hard core tennis freak like me 🙂

BBC sport wrote: “Ana Ivanovic ended a barren run of two years without a title as she beat Patty Schnyder 6-1 6-2 to win the Generali Ladies event in Linz, Austria.”.

Would that be the subtlest way to say on Ana’s achievement worthwhile? I’d think so.

As always, thank you for the super pics, TP. Andy’s happiness, Roger’s obvious disappointment, on this occasion a reversal of roles. I’m so pleased Ana is getting back in the groove at last, but I could do without the token fist!

Ya, good to see Ana win again. And agree, totally inappropriate celebration. She should have either 1) rolled on the ground and cried; or (2) jumped, done a scissors kick and pumped her fists; or (3) thumped her chest. 🙂

. It’s probably just me, but I just find Ana’s ‘little’ fist pump irritating. Henman used to do that, it was almost half hearted and it just didn’t look right, a bit like Murray rolling up his sleeve and flexing his muscles.
