Don’t you think the Turkey necks could have made this match a little more competitive if they had informed that the loser will be standing with hands in his pocket – without even able to get to something worthwhile – before the match?

Thank you, TP, you always come up trumps with great pics!

“And why is a man included?”
    Because she’s a woman.

“My computer tech guy looks better. Geeeezzzz!!!!!”
Bet he doesn’t have as much money or power.

Congrats to all the winners 🙂 Hey Greg!

Very nice pictures, thanks, TP. The prince and princess match very well, and they look like nice people. They somewhat resemble the queen and the king.

It looks strange that the Mayor is empty-handed. Maybe they gave Soder the runner-up plate, since they didn’t want to make him angry. Then the great Pete also left empty-handed beaten by Ruset. The organizers are stingy these days.

According to Sol, Mayer was given a bouquet and a little black bag containing something, Fed got the bag too. It would have been nice if he had been given a runner up trophy/plate – very strange.

Indeed!! I do not even mind giving a concert to get some charity money to make a small trophy IF and only if I am Swedeish!! 😦

Oh! I thought they were giving little evening bags as gifts and I wondered about that.

What a shrieking match!and those two commentators! not professional at all.It was like listening to an entertainment show. They were laughing and picking on them and being sarcastic most of the time. They even picked on Marat.Saying things like- ” oh he likes his tennis too” and started giggling.
I would love to see Azarenka playing doubles with Nadal.Would be a good partnership.

Congrats Roger!! Well done! I have finally watched some of Roger’s matches at Stockholm posted here..thanks Dee and M. Got sore eyes now.

My Lord 😯 that poor runner up didn’t even get a trophy/plate!! Kinda embarrasing 😳 Hmmmm thank God Roger won, hard to imagine the scenario the other way around.

Wow the girls really looked different when dolled up. I prefer Sam in her tennis gear.

TP you made me laugh 😆 as usual with your funny captions, my tummy hurts 😆 Thanks for the photos.

I am in love with Dementieva’s dress !
Come on TP imagine this…the Prince and you in the gym…lot of sweating,I’m sure you wouldn’t mind that 😉
The Prince is her personal-trainer-turned husband I believe.

When it comes to royalty Prince Felipe is up there on a pedestal, facial hair or not nobody can hold a candle next to him 😀

    congrats 2 all winners….

ladies look lovely … frannie even in dress!

The ladies are great athletes, but they all seem to have a pretty unique taste in fashion.

I agree. Love Elena’s dress, and Franny’s, very elegant. I like ‘Gladiator’ sandals but not when they grow very high heels! That’s a great pic of the cannon in Russia.

Francesca, looks fabulous, first I am seeing her dolled up.

TP, Are you able to find pictures of the Wimlbedon Champion’s Ball?

Even in defeat, Pete Sampras is still handsome! Love the black on him.
