It is classic Federer isn’t it. This clip really demonstrates the backhand vulnerabilities of his opponents quite starkly. Their fear of the (possile) winner to the backhand throws them out of position on their forehand, and the Fed is quite clinical and calculated in exploiting this. Rafa makes his forehand count and this is what Fed needs to overcome. His forehand doesn’t budge, instead it rifles down the line.
But, damn, wasn’t that forehand winner against Blake phenomenal. Brilliant stuff.
